Vision
- CSI-SB ensures that regular training and Skill updating are organized for the CSI student Volunteers to enhance their knowledge.
- CSI-SB works towards making the IT & Computer Science Profession an area of choice amongst all the regions of our Society.

- CSI Institutional Membership ID: I00233
- CSI Student Branch of SRM Valliammai Engineering College was started in the year 2007. At present there are 370 active volunteers in the CSI Student Branch.
- It is one of the active Student Branch of CSI and also received “Best Accredited Student Branch Award” from Computer Society of India since 2015 onwards (Consecutively four times) at every Annual CSI Convention.
- Various events have been conducted for the students and staff welfare for the past 13 years regularly.
- CSI-Student Branch shares their knowledge and exchange ideas to the Student Volunteers.
- CSI-Student Branch members published various technical articles in CSI Communications.
- CSI takes pride in being the largest and most professionally managed association of and for IT professionals in India.
- The purposes of the Society are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science and IT.
